Welcome to Briarwood Park

Briarwood Park, located at 2235 Briarwood Way is an 18 acre Park within the
City of Brookhaven.   Briarwood Park is  in close proximity to the convergence of Districts two, three,  and four of the City and thereby serves a large part of the Brookhaven area.

Briarwood Park offers visitors many  options including a Recreation center with a gym and basketball court,  meeting room , classroom ,  and public swimming pool.

Nestled within the natural wooded areas of the Park are hiking trails along with a playground area and picnic tables. There are also tennis courts available for public use.

The recently finished “Forest Patio area”, created by the all volunteer group Briarwood Park Conservancy,  includes a Community Garden,  surrounded by beautiful landscaping, flowers and a butterfly garden. There is also a pavilion with picnic tables and grills.

Briarwood Park Conservancy also  has a facebook page where you can keep up with improvement efforts currently ongoing within the Park.

Concerned citizens from the neighborhoods and communities surrounding Briarwood Park  have come together to form Briarwood Park Conservancy 

Briarwood Park Conservancy is an all volunteer advocacy group for the Park with the goals of revitalizing the Parks amenities including its Recreation Center and Gym, Meeting Room, Class Room, and Swimming Pool and Tennis Court areas.

We also coordinate clean up days for maintenance to the Playground and Picnic areas as well as the Parks Hiking Trails and wooded areas.  Weed Wacker Day Video
